§ 96.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Violations declared to be strict liability misdemeanors. Any person who is convicted of a violation of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and the violation shall be deemed a strict liability offense.
   (B)   Fines. Except as otherwise provided, a person convicted of violating any provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500, or double such sum for each repetition thereof. If the violation is continuous in nature, the penalty for allowing the continuance thereof is a fine not to exceed $250 for each day that the violation is unlawfully continued. The judge will determine the actual fine.
