§ 94.12 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   APPLICANT. Any person, firm, corporation, partnership, or association of any nature whatsoever, including any governmental entity, seeking a permit to make, or cause to be made, any excavation, cut or boring in any city street, alley, or other public property.
   CITY PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR. The Public Works Supervisor, or designee, responsible for enforcing the terms of this subchapter.
   PERMIT HOLDER. Any applicant that has been granted a permit pursuant to the terms of this subchapter.
   PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY. Any city street, alley, or other public property.
