(A) Any person violating any portion of this chapter for which no specific penalty is otherwise provided shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished, upon conviction, by assessment of a fine not less than $10 and not more than $100 plus the cost of court.
(B) Whoever violates § 90.04(F), upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not less than $5 nor more than $25. (A.C. § 14-54-1101)
(C) Any person violating or permitting the violation of any provision of § 90.40 shall, upon conviction, be fined a sum not less than $200 and not more than $1,000. In addition to the fine imposed the court may sentence the defendant to imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days. In addition, the court shall order the registration of the subject vicious dog revoked and the dog removed from the city. Should the defendant refuse to remove the dog from the city, the court may find the defendant in contempt and order the immediate confiscation and impoundment of the animal. Each day that a violation of § 90.40 continues shall be deemed a separate offense. In addition to the foregoing penalties, any person who violates § 90.40 shall pay all expenses, including but not limited to the shelter, food, handling, veterinary care and testimony necessitated by the enforcement of that section.
