171.06 MAYOR'S COURT MAGISTRATE.

(a) The Mayor may appoint a qualified Magistrate to conduct Mayor's Court, who shall meet the educational requirements of Mayor's Court Rule 3, Mayor's Court Education and Procedure Rules.

(b) A Mayor's Court Magistrate appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1905.05 shall be compensated in an amount not to exceed six hundred fifty dollars ($650.00) per day of Mayor's Court attended and held by said Magistrate.

(c) Said compensation shall be paid to the Magistrate as on a contractual basis and furthermore, said Magistrate shall not be entitled to any further compensation or benefit from the City other than the six hundred fifty dollars ($650.00) per day of Mayor's Court attended and held by said Magistrate.
