145.06 DIVISION OF CODE ENFORCEMENT.

   (a)   There is hereby created a Division of Code Enforcement that shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Director of Public Service.

   (b)   The Chief Building Inspector shall be responsible for enforcement of the Ohio Building Code, or such Codes as Council may adopt from time to time.

   (c)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall be responsible for enforcement of environmental regulations, and coordination with health officials and peace officers to obtain compliance.

   (d)   The Animal Control and Code Enforcement Officer shall be responsible for enforcement of animal control and environmental regulations.
