545.16 RADIO AND TELEVISION RECEPTION INTERFERENCE.
(a) No person shall use, maintain and operate, or cause to be used, maintained and operated, any device, appliance, equipment or apparatus in such a manner as to cause electrostatic or electromagnetic waves of high frequency oscillations or radiations which interfere with radio or television broadcast receiving apparatus or wireless receiving apparatus. A person duly licensed to practice medicine, osteopathy, dentistry or any limited branch or branches of medicine or surgery, duly licensed by the State, in the course of the practice of his or her profession, may operate or cause to be operated under his or her direct supervision, any machine necessary to give such treatment. However, all reasonable methods of preventing interference with radio or television broadcasting reception, either through insulation, screening of the rooms or premises in which such operation shall be conducted, or other reasonable and approved methods of interference prevention, shall be installed and used.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
