351.19 PARKING IN FIRE LANES.

   (a)   No person shall park a motor vehicle or permit an occupied or attended motor vehicle to obstruct a marked fire lane, except in authorized and clearly marked Aloading zones" as authorized by Schedule X of the Traffic Code.

   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.

   (c)   The provisions of this section apply only to traffic violations. All other forms of obstructing a fire lane are governed by the penal provision of the Fire Prevention Code of the City.
