13-5-2: DEFINITIONS:
AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES: Any invertebrates, plants, fish species or pathogens, as identified by the State of Montana, whose introduction to the waters of Whitefish Lake is likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.
HIGH RISK VESSEL: Includes, but is not limited to, ballast boats or boats with ballast bags, boats with standing water, boats from a state known to have water bodies infested with aquatic invasive species, boats from a Montana water body known to have aquatic invasive species, boats with attached flora or fauna, and boats with live bait.
VESSEL: Every description of watercraft, unless otherwise defined by the Montana Department of Justice, other than a seaplane on the water, used or capable of being used as a means of transportation on the water. (Ord. 17-22, 8-7-2017)
