9-2-14: INSPECTION AFTER BLASTING:
   A.   Immediately after the blast has been fired, the firing line shall be disconnected from the blasting machine or, where power switches are used, they shall be locked open.
   B.   A thorough inspection shall be made by the blaster to determine if all charges have been exploded. Other persons shall not be allowed to return to the area of the blast until an all clear signal is given.
   C.   All wires shall be carefully traced and search made for unexploded cartridges.
   D.   Loose pieces of rock and other debris shall be scaled down from the sides of the face of excavation and the area made safe before proceeding with the work. (Ord. A-348, 6-4-1979)
