The city, pursuant to authority conferred by Montana code 7-33-4205 and other laws of the state, finds it is to the best interests of the city to regulate the storage, transportation, types and use of explosives within the jurisdiction of the city by requiring a permit and inspection of any proposed use sites, storage facilities, means of transportation, methods of use, safety procedures, etc., in conjunction with the use of approved explosives.
