349.01 UNATTENDED MOTOR VEHICLE.
   No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first stopping the engine, locking the ignition, removing the key, and effectively setting the brake thereon and, when standing upon any grade, turning the front wheels to the curb or side of the street or highway. In addition no person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle which weighs in excess of 6,000 pounds, gross weight, shall permit it to stand upon any grade without first installing one or more suitable chock blocks against the wheels of the vehicle to prevent the vehicle from moving.
