165.05 BUDGET OF THE BOARD.
   All compensation and all expenses of the Hall of Fame Board, its members, officers or employees shall be paid solely from funds budgeted for such purposes by Council. The Board shall prepare a budget for each fiscal year setting forth its proposed receipts and expenditures. The Board may request Council and/or the City Manager for the funds necessary to balance its budget for each fiscal year. Such amount as included in the Budget may be approved by Council shall be available to the Board for its expenses during each fiscal year.
    In addition to the funds received from the City budget, the Board may also receive contributions from individuals, corporations, associations, foundations or other charitable organizations and may apply for and receive grants from Federal or State agencies for the purposes of the Hall of Fame established in accordance with the provisions of this article.
