Except for the Council member, the other eighteen (18) members of the Board shall be divided into six (6) subcommittees each consisting of three (3) members who have knowledge of and express interest in one (1) of the six (6) major categories of persons to be honored in the Hall of Fame as follows:
(a) Music and Fine Arts. The subcommittee for selection of honorees in this category shall consist of three (3) members who have knowledge and experience in endeavors or organizations engaged in the advancement of the fine arts.
(b) Business, Industry and Professions. The subcommittee for selection of honorees in this category shall consist of three (3) members who have knowledge and experience in business, industry or labor organizations related to business and industry.
(c) Education and Religion. The subcommittee for selection of honorees in this category shall consist of three (3) members who have knowledge and experience in organizations with religious or educational purposes.
(d) Sports and Athletics. The subcommittee for selection of honorees in this category shall consist of three (3) members who have knowledge and experience in amateur or professional sports.
(e) Public Service. The subcommittee for selection of honorees in this category shall consist of three (3) members who have knowledge of local history and the public sector.
(f) Philanthropy. The subcommittee for selection of honorees in this category shall consist of three (3) members who, by reason of their interest and study have acquired knowledge of those who have made philanthropic gifts to local non-profit organizations.
