(a) The standards and requirements concerning certification, continuing education and various other provisions for municipal, county and other public sector building code officers, inspectors and planners, as set out and established by the following are hereby adopted by reference and shall have the same force and effect as if set out in this Article:
(1) The rules and regulations of the West Virginia Fire Commission as contained in Title 87, Series 7 - §87-7 et seq. The scope of which establishes the requirements for the certification, continuing education and training of municipal, county, and other public sector building code officials, building code inspectors and building code plans examiners to ensure compliance with the State Building Code.
