Notwithstanding provisions specifically concerning annual licensing fees contained within Chapter Three – Business Licenses and Regulation as contained in Articles 711 through 779 of the Business and Taxation Code, the City Council hereby establishes a simplified licensing fee schedule for municipal business licenses. The provisions found herein shall not change or alter any other provisions, not specifically stated in this section, in Chapter Seven Business and Taxation of the Codified Ordinances or any other municipal laws or requirements. In particular, all businesses shall continue to adhere to the general licensing provisions found in Article 701 as well as other general provisions, in Chapter Three of this Article which may be individually applicable to the particular business with the exception of the change in annual fees charged for licenses and renewals as stated in this section. Note that all annual municipal license fees shall be payable to the City of Wheeling on a fiscal year basis. (Ord. 13793. Passed 6-16-09.)
