A person shall not install a gas conversion burner, floor furnace, central heating and air conditioning unit, vented wall furnace, water heater, boiler, incinerator, consumer's gas piping or convert existing piping to utilize fuel gas without first obtaining a permit to do such work. However, permits will not be required for setting or connecting other gas appliances, or for the repair of leaks in house piping.
