1745.01 FIRE ZONES ESTABLISHED.
   For the purpose of this Building Code the entire City of Wheeling is hereby declared and established a fire district, which fire district shall be known and designated as "Fire Zones 1, 2, and 3."
   Whenever in this Building Code reference is made to any fire zone, it means the fire district and fire zones herein provided for.
   The following shall be, and are hereby declared to be the limitation of fire zones:
   (a)    Fire Zone No. 1.
      (1)    First Section: Beginning at a point on the Fort Henry Bridge where it intersects the low-water mark of the east bank of the Ohio River and proceeding east to a point in the center of Stone Boulevard; thence following the center line of Stone Boulevard to its intersection with the center line of 10th Street; thence following the centerline of 10th Street east to its intersection with Morrow Street; thence following the center line of Morrow Street south to its intersection of the center line of 11th Street; thence following the center line of 11th Street east to its intersection with the center line of Charles Street; thence extending this point south to the center of the intersection of Byron Street and 12th Street; thence following the center line of Byron Street south to its intersection with the center line of Lane 13; thence following the center line of Lane 13 east to the center line of Lane F; thence following the center line of Lane F south to its intersection of the center line of Lane 14; thence following the center line of Lane 14 west to Eoff Street; thence continuing along a straight line of Lane 14 extended to the center line of Chapline Street; thence following the center line of Chapline Street south and continuing on a straight line extended to the low-water mark of Wheeling Creek; thence following the low-water mark of Wheeling Creek to its intersection to the low-water mark of the Ohio River; thence following the low-water mark of the Ohio River to its intersection with the beginning point.
      (2)    Second Section: Beginning at a point in the center line of the intersection of National Road and Drove Street, and proceeding easterly to the eastern line of the Interstate 70 right of way; thence following the eastern right-of-way line of Interstate 70 to its intersection with the northerly line of National Road; thence proceeding westerly on National Road to its intersection with Stone Church Road; thence following the center line of Stone Church Road southerly to its intersection with the center line of East Cross Street; thence following the center line of East Cross Street westerly to its intersection with the center line of Key Street; thence following the center line of Key Street northerly to a mid point between Lounez Street and Monroe Avenue; thence proceeding westerly parallel to Lounez Street and Monroe Avenue to the center line of Kruger Street; thence following the center line of Kruger Street to its intersection with the center line of National Road; thence following to the center line of National Road and its intersection with the center line of Wheeling Creek; thence following the center line of Wheeling Creek northwesterly to its intersection with the center line of the B. & O. Railroad Tracks; thence following the center line of the B. & O. Railroad Tracks easterly to its intersection with the center line of National Road; thence following northwesterly the center line of National Road to the point of beginning.
   (b)    Fire Zone No. 2.
       (1)    First Section: Beginning at a point at the intersection of Byron and 12th Streets and following the center line of 12th Street east to the intersection of the center line of Jacob Street; thence following the center line of Jacob Street south to its intersection of the center line of 13th Street; thence following the center line of 13th Street east to the center line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; thence following the center line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad southwesterly to its intersection with the center line of Wood Street; thence following the center line of Wood Street south to the low-water mark of the north bank of Wheeling Creek; thence following the low-water mark of Wheeling Creek to a point of intersection with an extended center-line of Chapline Street; thence following the center line of Chapline Street extended north to the center line of Lane 14; thence following the center line of Lane 14 to its intersection of the center line of Lane F; thence following the center line of Lane F north to its intersection with the center line of Lane 13; thence following the center line of Lane 13 west to its intersection with the center line of Byron Street; thence following the center line of Byron Street north to the place of beginning.
       (2)    Second Section: Beginning at a point in the center line of the intersection of Main and First Streets and following the center line of Main Street south to its intersection with the center line of 5th Street; thence following the center line of 5th Street east to the center line of Market Street; thence following the center line of Market Street south to its intersection with the center line of 7th Street; thence following the center line of 7th Street east to its intersection with the center line of Chapline Street; thence following the center line of Chapline Street south to its intersection with the center line of Interstate 70 extended; thence following the center line of Interstate 70 west to a point to the low-water mark on the east bank of the Ohio River; thence following the low-water mark of the east bank of the Ohio River north to the center line of First Street; thence following the center line of First Street east to the point of beginning.
       (3)    Third Section: Beginning at a point in the southern low-water mark of Wheeling Creek and Eoff Street extended and following the center line of Eoff Street south to the center line of the intersection of 22nd and Eoff Streets; thence following the center line of 22nd Street west to the center line of the intersection of Lane D and 22nd Street; thence following the center line of Lane D south to the intersection of the center line of 26th Street and Lane D; thence following the center line of 26th Street east to a point in the center line of Lane E and 26th Street; thence following kite center line of Lane E south to the center line of the Pennsylvania Railroad tracks; thence following the center line of the Pennsylvania Railroad tracks northwesterly and continuing in a straight line to the low-water mark of the east bank of the Ohio River; thence following the east bank of the Ohio River north to its intersection with the mouth of Wheeling Creek; thence following the southern low-water mark of Wheeling Creek to the point of beginning.
   (c)    Fire Zone No. 3. Fire Zone No. 3 includes the whole City of Wheeling that is not included in Fire Zones Nos. 1 and 2.
