There is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as if set out at length herein that part of the State Building Code entitled the 2015 edition, International Residential Code, First and Second Printing, as published by the International Code Council, to be known as the Building Code of the City of Wheeling, West Virginia, for the purpose of regulating the fabrication, erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, location and use of detached one-and-two-family dwellings, and townhouses not more than 3 stories above grade plane in height with a separate means of egress, their appurtenances and accessory structures and providing for the issuance of permits therefore and penalties for the violation thereof subject to the modifications hereinafter provided. The adoption of that part of the State Building Code entitled 2009 International Residential Code by the City of Wheeling includes Appendix E - Manufactured Housing Use as Dwellings; Appendix F - Radon Control Methods; Appendix G - Swimming Pools, Spas, and Hot Tubs; Appendix H - Patio Covers; and Appendix K - Sound Transmissions.
