(a) The standards and requirements not including standards and requirements directed to the operation and internal administration of the Fire Department, as set out and established by the following codes are hereby adopted by reference and shall have the same force and effect as if set out in this Fire Prevention Code:
(1) The rules and regulations of the West Virginia State Fire Commission known as the State Fire Code; and
(2) The National Fire Codes, the current edition adopted by the State, published by the National Fire Protection Association, Batterymarch Park, Quincy, Massachusetts 02269.
(b) The City of Wheeling’s Bureau of Fire Prevention shall have at all times a copy of such current standards that are adopted by reference on file at its office.
