Unless otherwise expressly stated the following terms shall, for the purpose of this Fire Prevention Code have the meanings indicated in this section:
(a) "Approved" means accepted by the Chief of the Fire Department or Chief Inspector of the Bureau of Fire Prevention as a result of their investigation and experience, or by reason of test, listing or approval by the Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., the National Bureau of Standards, the American Gas Association Laboratories, the current standards of the National Fire Protection Association or other nationally recognized testing authorities.
(b) "Classifications of occupancy and hazards of contents" shall be as set forth in Chapter 4 of the Life Safety Code.
(c) All other definitions as listed in Article Two of the BOCA Basic National Fire Prevention Code and Chapter Three of the Life Safety Code N.F.P.A. 101, are hereby adopted and incorporated for the purpose of administering this article.
