Whoever fails or refuses to construct or repair a sidewalk, curb or driveway within sixty days from the giving of written notice as provided in Section 903.05 or otherwise violates this chapter shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both. Each day or portion thereof during which such failure or refusal is continued shall be deemed a separate offense.
