In addition to the license fee imposed by Section 717.03, there is imposed upon every person exhibiting within the City any circus, menagerie, circus and menagerie combined, wild west show, carnival, caravan, fair or other itinerant or traveling show or exhibit of any type or kind to which admission is charged, an amusement license tax of one percent (1%) of such paid admission. For the purpose of this article, taxes imposed by any governmental authority on such admissions or collected in connection therewith, shall not be included in calculating the amount of such paid admissions.
