741.04 LICENSE FEES.
   The annual license fee for dealers in nonintoxicating beer shall be as follows:
   (a)   Retail Dealer. In the case of a retail dealer, the license fee shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for each place of business in the City, except that such license fee for social, fraternal or public clubs, not operating for profit, and having been in continuous operation for two years or more immediately preceding the date of application, shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).

    (b)   Package Dealer. In the case of a package dealer, the license shall be five dollars ($5.00) for each place of business in the City, for unchilled (warm) beer, and seventy-five dollars ($75.00) if chilled (cold), and such license shall authorize the licensee to sell nonintoxicating beer at retail in bottles, cans or other sealed containers only, and only for consumption off the licensed premises and provided that such license may be issued only to the proprietor or owner of a grocery store. For the purpose of this section, the term "grocery store" includes any retail establishment commonly known as a grocery store or delicatessen, where food or food products are sold for consumption off the premises.

   (c)   Distributor. In the case of a distributor, the license shall be one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for each place of business in the City.
   (d)   Brewer. In the case of a brewer, the license fee shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each place of manufacture located in the City.
   For any license granted for a period less than a year, the fee shall be computed from the annual fee quarterly in proportion to the remainder of the license year.
