In the trial of any action relating to the provisions of this Business Regulation and Taxation Code the fact that any party to such action represented himself as engaged in any activity or occupation for the transaction of which a license or permit is required, or that such party exhibited a sign or advertisement indicating such activity or occupation, shall be evidence of the liability of such party to pay the fee for such license or permit.
