Unless otherwise provided by statute, no State license or permit shall exempt any person from the license or permit requirements of this Business Regulation and Taxation Code or other ordinances of the City, nor shall the issuance of any State license or permit be deemed to compel the City to issue a similar license or permit contrary to the provisions of this Code or other ordinances of the City.
