A. Enforcement Authority Delegated: It shall be the duty of the building inspector to enforce this title. If the building inspector shall find that any of the provisions of this title are being violated, he shall notify in writing the persons responsible for such violations, indicating the nature of the violation and ordering the action necessary to correct it, and shall take such other action as is authorized by this title to ensure compliance with or to prevent violation of its provisions.
B. Compliance By City Officials: All departments, officials, and employees of the city vested with the duty or authority to issue permits or licenses shall comply with the provisions of this title and shall issue no permit or license for any use, purpose, excavation, construction, structure, building, or sign in conflict with the provisions of this title.
