This title is enacted for the following purposes:
A. Cooperating with the state of Oklahoma in conserving the natural resources of the state and promoting the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort, convenience, prosperity, order, and general welfare of the people of the state.
B. Lessening danger and congestion of public transportation and travel.
C. Securing safety from fire and other dangers.
D. Preventing overcrowding of land.
E. Avoiding undue concentration of population.
F. Providing adequate police protection, transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks, forests, recreational facilities, military and naval facilities, and other public requirements, and preventing undue encroachment thereon. (Ord., 3-8-1971)
