A. State And City Licenses Required: No person, firm or corporation shall engage or offer to engage in, by advertisement or otherwise, any mechanical work as a journeyman or contractor unless such person, firm or corporation has: (1983 Code § 5-902; amd. 2005 Code)
1. Applied for and obtained from the state board of health a license to engage in such business;
2. Obtained from the city clerk a city license to conduct the business within the city.
B. License Fees: License fees are:
Contractor | $50.00 per year |
Journeyman | 10.00 per year |
Apprentice | 3.00 per year |
C. License Term: All such licenses will expire June 30 of each year. (1983 Code § 5-902)
