1-11-6: CLERK OF THE COURT:
   A.   Duties: The city clerk, or a deputy designated by him, shall be the clerk of the court. He shall:
      1.   Assist the judge in recording the proceedings of the court and in preparing writs, processes and other papers.
      2.   Administer oaths required in proceedings before the court.
      3.   Enter all pleadings, processes, and proceedings in the dockets of the court.
      4.   Perform such other clerical duties relating to the proceedings of the court as the judge shall direct.
      5.   Receive and receipt for forfeitures, fines, deposits, and sums of money payable to the court.
      6.   Pay to the treasurer of the city, within twenty four (24) hours of receipt, all monies so received by him, except such special deposits or fees as shall be received to be disbursed by him for special purposes. All monies paid to the treasurer shall be placed in the general fund of the city, or in such other fund as the city council may direct, and it shall be used in the operation of the city government in accordance with budgetary arrangements governing the fund in which it is placed.    B.   Bond:
      1.   The court clerk shall give bond, in the form provided by 11 Oklahoma Statutes section 27-111, in a sum to be determined by the city council.
      2.   When executed, the bond shall be submitted to the city council for approval. When approved, it shall be filed with the clerk of the city and retained in the city archives. (1983 Code § 6-116)
