A. Permit Required: No motorboat shall be operated, used or placed upon the municipal lake by any person without the owner or operator of such boat having first obtained a permit for the operation of the boat upon the lake as herein provided. (1983 Code § 11-101)
B. Application For City License; Proof Of State License: Any person, before placing, using or operating a motorboat upon the municipal lake, shall make application to the city for a permit. The application shall be in such form as the city may require. The applicant shall show proof of a current state boat license issued by the state. (1983 Code § 11-102)
C. Annual Permit, Decal: Boating permits provided for herein shall be issued on a yearly basis only, beginning upon January 1, with all permits expiring December 31 of each year. Permit decals shall be placed on the left front (port side) of each boat. (1983 Code § 11-103)
D. Permit Fee: There is hereby levied an annual fee chargeable to, and which must be paid in advance by, the applicant before receiving a permit. The fee shall be set from time to time by motion or resolution of the city council. (1983 Code § 11-104)
