A. Fires: No person, firm or corporation shall burn or cause to be burned any rubbish, oil or other combustible material upon any pavement. (1983 Code § 14-219)
B. Furnaces: No person, firm or corporation shall place on or over, or cause to be placed on or over any of the pavements of the city any tar heating furnace, or any other furnace or vessel containing fire without properly protecting the pavement against the heat therefrom with suitable materials and thoroughly cleaning the pavement when such furnace is removed, leaving the pavement free from any kind of debris or building material.
