5-7A-7: KEEPING FOWL:
   A.   No person shall keep any domestic fowl or nondomestic fowl other than that customarily considered a household pet within the city, except in an agricultural zoning district. Such fowl shall be kept within an enclosure sufficient to prevent the fowl from escaping therefrom, and all coops, houses and roosts shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition and disinfected in such a manner and to the extent necessary to prevent odors or unsanitary conditions. No person shall maintain, have or keep any pen, yard, building or enclosure for the purpose of keeping or restraining chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas, pigeons or other domestic or nondomestic fowl of any kind within twenty feet (20') of any residence within the city or within fifty feet (50') of the front line of any open and used street, road or avenue.
   B.   No person shall keep fowl that may create a nuisance. A nuisance shall be deemed as the conduct or behavior of such fowl which damages private or public property or the fowl crows or making other noises in an excessive, continuous fashion which annoys the comfort, health or peace or quiet of the people in the community.
