1-8-2: EMPLOYEE ACTIVITIES:
   A.   Engaging In Other Business Or Activities:
      1.   No regular, full time employee of the city shall engage in or pursue any business, trade, activity, or endeavor, for profit or otherwise, that requires such employee to be off of or away from, and neglecting and not performing, the duties of the job or position for which he is employed by the city for all or any substantial part of any day that such employee is or should be on the job.
      2.   No employee of the city shall perform or engage in any other job, trade or business while on the job for which he is hired by the city.
   B.   Violation On Offense; Discharge: Any violation of this section shall constitute an offense, and any employee violating the same shall be subject to dismissal and discharge from his job or employment with the city. (1983 Code § 2-502)
