Any person, firm or corporation who violates the provisions of this chapter by doing that which is prohibited, or by failing or refusing that which is required, is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1983 Code § 9-604)
