§ 94.03 HEADSTONES, BURIAL CRYPTS AND MAUSOLEUMS; OUTSIDE CONTAINERS.
   (A)   (1)   It shall be an offense against the city for any person, firm or other entity to place, set or construct any headstone, burial crypt or mausoleum in Wetumka Cemetery without first obtaining approval of the specifications and manner in which the same will be placed and set from the City Manager. No burial crypt or mausoleum may exceed the following:
         (a)   A width of seven feet, two inches, commonly referred to as a double width; and
         (b)   A height of four feet, six inches above ground level.
      (2)   No stacked burial crypts or mausoleums are allowed within Wetumka Cemetery.
   (B)   (1)   Definition. For the purpose of this division (B), the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
         CEMETERY. The Wetumka Cemetery, located in the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 9 North, Range 10 East.
         INTERNMENT. The burial in a grave, burial crypt or mausoleum of any deceased person in the Wetumka Cemetery.
         OUTSIDE CONTAINER. The container or box placed in the open grave, the burial crypt or mausoleum in which the casket shall be placed for internment.
      (2)   Standards. All internments in the Wetumka Cemetery, from the effective date of this division (B), shall be required to meet the following minimum standards. No internment shall be permitted where the outside containers are made of wood or like material. The minimum requirement for outside containers shall be one of no less than one-fourth inch fiberglass or like material. However, concrete boxes are recommended for graves and granite or like material are for burial crypts and mausoleums.
      (3)   Inspection. No internment shall be permitted in the Wetumka Cemetery until the cemetery official representative has inspected the gravesite for compliance with this division (B).
