The City Council may perform all the functions and have all of the powers which would otherwise be granted to and be performed by a planning commission under NRS chapter 278. The City Council shall further have such functions, powers and duties concerning land use planning and zoning as may be set forth in the various provisions of this Code. (Ord. 94-14, 1-3-1995)
