The tax administrator is hereby authorized and empowered to collect the proceeds of this transient lodging tax together with any and all interest and penalties in connection therewith and to enforce by all appropriate and lawful means the provisions of this chapter and to bring suit therefor as well as to proceed by any appropriate criminal action.
