The following types of revenue shall be deposited into the local law enforcement continuing education fund established under I.C. 5-2-8-2: law enforcement continuing education fees (I.C. 33-37-5-8); inspection of motor vehicles fees (I.C. 9-29-4-2); vehicle accident report fees (I. C. 9-29-11-1); handgun licenses fees (I.C. 35-47-2-3); and proceeds from the sale of confiscated weapons (I.C. 35-47-3-2). Funds received by the town for this purpose shall be used for the continuing education and training of law enforcement officers employed by the town and for equipment and supplies for law enforcement purposes.
