§ 112.02  RECORDS TO BE KEPT BY OWNER.
   (A)   Every pawnshop and pawnbroker in precious metals or coins and secondhand dealer shall keep a book in which shall be entered at time of pledge or purchase, a description of the article, purchased or pledged from any person, the amount paid for the article, the date of the transaction, together with the name and address of the person from whom the article is purchased or pledged, and every pawnshop, pawnbroker, secondhand dealer or dealer in precious metal or coins shall, at the time of making a purchase, require the pledger or seller to provide a photocopy of a photo identification card and write his or her signature and address on the record book required by this chapter to be kept.
   (B)   The book shall be opened for inspection by the police at any and all times.
