§ 110.35  DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   PEDDLER. Any person who sells or offers for sale manufactured goods, wares or merchandise directly to a consumer either by going from house to house for the purpose of selling and delivering the goods or for the purpose of taking orders for the future delivery of the goods or by selling and delivering the goods from a pack or a vehicle in any street or other public place except:
      (1)   Persons selling by sample only;
      (2)   Persons selling agricultural products raised or produced by such persons;
      (3)   Persons selling as authorized by state law;
      (4)   Persons under 18 years of age; and
      (5)   Persons selling newspapers direct to the homeowner.
