§ 36.21  LABORATORY REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Specimen retention. All specimens deemed “positive” by the laboratory, according to the prescribed guidelines, must be retained, for identification purposes, at the laboratory for a period of at least one year.
   (B)   Approved testing laboratories. The laboratories used must be able to perform all the required testing procedures. The parties also agree to retain the right to audit and inspect the individual laboratories to determine conformity with the laboratory requirements as established herein.
   (C)   Prescription and nonprescription medications. The employee shall note on a form furnished by the town use of any prescription and nonprescription medication before any test is given. Through the use of the above described laboratory procedures, the laboratory will report significant presence of all prescription and nonprescription medications. If an employee is taking a prescription or nonprescription medication in the appropriate described manner and has noted such use, as provided above, and has been cleared to return to duty, he or she will not be disciplined.
