Subdivision 1. For the faithful discharge of the duties of their respective offices, the elected official shall receive the following salaries: The Mayor: $10,174 for calendar year 2023 and $10,480 for calendar year 2024; each Councilmember: $8,165 for calendar year 2023 and $8,410 for calendar year 2024. The City Manager and all other officers and employees of the City shall receive such salaries or wages as may be fixed by the Council.

Subdivision 2. Prior to June of every even-numbered year, the Commission shall review and may adopt a charter amendment increasing the salaries of the Mayor and Council. Salary increased shall take effect pursuant to statute.
