§ 135.05 ASSISTING PRISONERS TO ESCAPE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, in any unlawful manner, to set at liberty, rescue, or attempt to set at liberty or rescue, any prisoner from any officer or employee of the town, having legal custody of such prisoner, or from the Municipal Jail or other place of confinement, or to assist such prisoner in any manner to escape from such prison or custody, or to give such prisoner any weapon or object which might be used as a weapon or instrument to assist in said escape, or to give such prisoner any alcoholic beverages, narcotics, or other controlled dangerous substances.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to communicate with, or attempt to communicate with, any prisoner confined in the Municipal Jail without authority to do so from the Chief of Police or the Officer-in-Charge.
