(A) (1) The Town Clerk/Treasurer and the Town Marshal shall, within ten days after their election or appointment, give bonds payable to the town, in such amounts as the Board of Trustees shall direct, conditioned upon the faithful performance of their duties as required by law.
(2) The town shall pay the premiums on such bonds.
(B) The Board of Trustees, by motion or resolution, may require other officers and employees to be bonded.
