§ 131.01 GAMBLING PROHIBITED.
   No person, firm, or corporation (or agent or employee thereof) shall play, open, or cause to be opened, operate, carry on, or conduct any game of roulette, craps, or any percentage game played with dice, for money, checks, chips, credit, or any other things of value; or shall set up, operate, or permit to be operated, any slot machine or other device whatsoever where money, checks, chips, credit, or any other things of value are played, when the act of playing the same might result in a gain or loss to the party playing; or shall gamble knowingly in any other similar manner; or knowingly shall permit premises, houses, lots, or other property controlled by said entities, to be used in connection with or for, any act declared unlawful in this chapter.
