(A) (1) Any person, firm, corporation, or association whose application for private license for the operation of a private club is denied shall have the right to appeal to the Board of Trustees.
(2) Notice of the appeal stating the grounds therefor shall be filed with the Chief of Police and the Town Clerk/Treasurer within five days after receipt of the notice of denial. Within ten days thereafter, the Board of Trustees shall hold a public hearing upon the appeal, at which hearing both the applicant and the Chief of Police, and other interested parties, may present such evidence as they deem advisable.
(B) Within ten days after the conclusion of the hearing, the Board of Trustees shall affirm or reverse the denial of the license for the operation of a private club.
