No person owning, operating, or maintaining a retail alcoholic beverage store shall cause or permit it to be designated by more than one sign, which shall contain only the words “retail alcoholic liquor store,” or any combination of such words or any of them, and which shall contain no letter or figure more than four inches in height or more than three inches in width, and in which the lines of words, of more than one, shall not be more than one inch apart.
