(A) Every person, firm, or corporation owning or operating a place of business within the town is hereby required to own, keep, and maintain therein such fire-fighting equipment (i.e., fire extinguishers) as the Fire Department requires. The equipment shall be inspected regularly by the Fire Department.
(B) (1) Maintenance or recharging of such equipment may be done by the Fire Department.
(2) Provided that a fee sufficient to cover the cost of said service shall be paid by the owner to the town.
