Any person who violates any provision of this chapter by doing any act prohibited, declared to be unlawful thereby, or declared to be a nuisance, an offense, or misdemeanor thereby, or who fails to do any act required by any such provision, who fails to do any act when such provision declares such failure to be unlawful or to be an offense or misdemeanor, who violates any legal order or regulation made pursuant to this chapter, or who maintains any nuisance as defined in this chapter, shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding the limits established in § 32.99. Each day upon which any such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
