(A) Within five days after election, the President and the other members of the Board of Trustees shall take and subscribe, before some person authorized to administer the same, the usual oath or affirmation for the faithful performance of the duties of their respective offices as prescribed by the State Constitution.
(B) All officers appointed by the Board of Trustees of the town shall, within five days after such appointment, take and subscribe to the oath of office in the manner provided for by the Board of Trustees.
